Had a chance to progress the handbrake today.   A rod from the handbrake lever runs back along the outside of the bodywork (just because I like the look).  It then operates a lever which then pulls a Bowden cable that will operate the brake pedal (Graham Appleyard style).

Finally got my gloriously complicated version of an Appleyard handbrake installed.  Had fun making it.
