Hi  Guys, what a fantastic day at Castle Combe. Thanks to Chris for organising this. Some very spirited Driving making good entertainment. The staff were very friendly and professional. Congratulations to Jim for winning the Cup and you are excused for chucking oil all over the front of the Brooklands special. Thanks again, looking forward to seeing you all on 7th at Brooklands.

Yes it was a really cool day yesterday (actually anything but!!). Thanks to Chris of course but also to Jim, he arranged three essential things for the day:
1.A full English (with black pudding and hash browns)
2.A pop-up gazebo for shade
3.Bottles of water for everybody.
Jim you're a star! And a well deserved cradling of the Maybug Medal..... detailed results will follow.

The bonus for the day was a visit by Ivan Dutton, who provided tips on drivers' skills and an unlimited supply of racing anecdotes throughout the day. It was a real treat Ivan, good of you to drive over and meet up with us.

Thanks for a great day on Weds Chris (and fellow conspirators).  It was interesting to drive such a different circuit.   It certainly tested the cyclekarts and incredibly my freewheel set-up survived.  Good fun, good company, good setting - thanks!

Well it sounds like I really missed a good day out. As I said in previous postings I had every intention of coming but I'm afraid tedious legal stuff with the land Registry and two solicitors put the last minute mokkers on it.
Since I said I was going, I guess my lack of financial contribution cost everyone something so, Graham, if you could tell me how much I owe and to whome I would be pleased to pay my share.
When are the photos/videos coming? Really looking forward to seeing them.

We did miss you Adrian. Chris Loader arranged the day and paid the fee up front. I know that he suffered a large shortfall on the day and would appreciate some compensation. I will set up a three-way private email contact so that you can arrange payment direct. Offer appreciated, Graham.

It was a really great day with wonderful people who made it thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks Chris for organising what has turned out to be a very memorable event. Thanks Graham for your kind words, I enjoyed the breakfast and it was a good chance to catch up with people, we had quite a few laughs. I have watched the videos and think I can see how I got 1st in the Maybug medal. It must be the Hollywood tyres that screech on nearly every corner. The A team, Starskey and Hutch and Steve Mcqueen all had these tyres fitted to catch baddies.
