I have provisionally booked the circuit for the weekday Wednesday 26th May. The actual arrangements for the day will depend on numbers of drivers proposing to attend. Can you please therefore indicate by return if you are attending. Visitors will be welcome but I am collating numbers of drivers at present.
I am currently talking with the Boardtrack Racer Builders to share an exclusive booking, but nothing firmed up yet.
I am already aware that Bill, Stefan, Marek, Chris Slade and Jim are attending, so no need to respond.
Many thanks.

Hello Graham,
Count me in, thanks. I noticed that Hagerty the classic car insurers offer club insurance? Cheers, Geoff

I have been reading Graham’s posting regarding a first meeting. Assuming ALL travel bans and the like will have been lifted by then ( 26/05/21 ), I would like to take up the offer if I may to cross, “the wall” and come on down as a spectator and SPY, so Graham, if or when you are collating a list of “others” likely to be attending could you include my name please.

Regards,

Scotty

I'm pleased to report that we have a pretty good response to this event.
CONFIRMED SO FAR:
Jim Tanner
Chris Slade
Bill Alexander
Geoff May
Chris Loader
Adrian Gosling
Graham Appleyard/Lewis Burrell
Stefan Nahajski/Marek Nahajski
Graham Hill

If any other drivers can commit to joining us on the grid please advise here asap. I need to confirm the booking with the circuit on Monday and the arrangements will depend on paying numbers.
I'm still waiting for the Boardtrack Racer Builders to get their act together.

As stated previously, visitors will be welcome. I'm always happy to let new builders have a go and I'm sure others are too. Track requirements are overalls, helmet and gloves. Guest drivers will be required to attend our safety briefing with regular owner/drivers.
More details to follow.

I am so looking forward to this meeting on the Wednesday. I am also racing my slingshot on the Friday at Santapod for the weekend. I might as well book the whole week off work, which is never a bad thing. woohoo.

Ha ha!. You definitely qualify as a Petrol Head! It will be good to meet up again!
I'm finalising details for the day with the circuit.

We had better be careful Simon or people will talk. lol. I could swap you a go in my kart at Stretton for a cruise round the pits at pod in your Gasser.

Update on the booking arrangements.
The Boardtrack Racer Builders group is not in a position to organise a full day-share of the circuit.
I have therefore booked the circuit for our exclusive use between 10.00 am and 1.00pm, with the opportunity to use the circuit for the rest of the day subject to availability. The circuit will make best endeavours to give us track time in the afternoon.
I've funded this up front for £400 so I would appreciate £40 cash from all drivers on the day please. If we get more than 10 on the day (including me) we will start a kitty for future group use.

Thanks Graham, if there are other people on the track in the afternoon maybe the dirt oval could be an option.
