Whilst I’ve seen lots of Stefan Marjoram’s images online, I’ve only just found his Flickr account.   If you want to while away an hour or two then it’s worth a browse:

Great cars beautifully captured.

I did get in contact to see if they might invite cyclekarts to the Festival of Slowth but they declined.  Its an invitation only affair and it needs to be slow, old and ideally unusual/rare.

Bit of a shame the club has taken a parochial viewpoint by excluding a potential extra string to their bow!, surely inclusion is more productive to the community via shared interest and larger resource pool etc

Ron, the folks at Festival of Slowth are not a club, they are a group (loosely) of individuals who see no need to expand their group. Cars are expected to be pre 1930 in all components, walking speed or no more than a trotting horse, and expected to break down.
They are even more eccentric than cyclekarters!

Those requirements do rather form an eccentric blueprint which is abit of fun, what often is noticeable to me is that the subjective interest between seperate groups can effectively on paper be the same yet somehow the exclusivity is maintained. Although being from a rather brutal inner city as a child I always tend to view things everything as being skewed weirdly by western materialism.
