Hi guys....I’m still alive! Damage to shoulder etc is slowly improving and have spent the last week getting some repairs carried out to the kart. I’ve revised the brake pedal assembly, strengthened the calliper mounting and everything seems ok!!
I’m going to add an extra cable operated calliper to the same disc. Operated by a handbrake lever on the floor, will give a backup braking system and also a handbrake function!
I probably will not drive it again but need to create a safe Vehicle for another driver.

Glad to hear you're recovering, and you've got at least some enthusiasm back. It's a great car, would be a shame if it didn't run again.
