CKGB Chassis Plate update for 2026

At the Committee meeting in January 2026, we examined the take up and have amended the chassis plate scheme and now you can have a plate for every Cyclekart you build for free with your annual Membership.

Previously, we have offered a chassis plate free of charge when a current member's Cyclekart has its first bodied run at a CKGB event for the first Cyclekart built per member. Chassis plates further to the first build were charged at £10.

The scheme has been so well received and our register has now over 64 issued plates to the Cyclekarts that are eligible for a plate with 3 plates yet to be issued when an order becomes viable, taking the total number of eligible Cyclekarts up to 68. Only one eligible Cyclekart to my knowledge is yet to apply for a plate.

We are pleased to announce that from this month, members are now eligible for a chassis plate for any number of builds, free of charge, provided the Cyclekart has had a first bodied run at a CKGB event and they have completed the form available on our website.

You can download your form to fill in here

We hope you will agree this is a nice little touch that is very well finished, in keeping and will look great on your Cyclekart wherever you decide to mount it :)
