Dates for your Diary

Below is the provisional CKGB programme for 2023. Please note: all dates are subject to change.
In the event of a cancellation, all parties will be notified at the earliest time possible.

  • Our first meeting of 2023 is an online gathering of fellow enthusiasts

A chance to talk all things Cyclekarts - Wheels, hubs, engines, sprockets and seats! If there are any topics you want to cover at the builder’s meet, please let us know.

  • CKGB AGM, a chance to talk all things Cyclekarts and access to the museum (discounted access). There is usually a few Cyclekarts on display. If there are any topics you want to cover at the builder’s meet, please let us know. In 2022 we had a superb turnout and the feedback was it was well worth the effort to see and meet fellow Cyclekarters. Click here for more info

  • Invitation from VSCC to display and possibly do exhibition drives at the VSCC season kick-off event at Silverstone. More details to follow

  • Home to the first Cyclekart event in GB in 2018 and a regular fixture ever since. A 950m karting circuit with sweeping bends, hairpins and a short start finish straight.

  • A brand new venue for 2023. This will be a charity event working with the Star and Garter pub in Chelveston. A grass field which we hope will provide opportunities for a small circuit with plenty of drifting, and a sporting trials course.

  • Display and exhibition drive on the historic start/finish straight and an attempt up the famous Test Hill (weather permitting) as part of the annual celebration of the opening of Brooklands as a race circuit in 1907.

The Brooklands Relived event that has happened in previous years is being incorporated into the Sunday of this weekend and celebrates the heydays of Brooklands as a race circuit, with cars, motorbikes, fashion and music. Cyclekarts have been a firm favourite with the crowds at this event. Plus, of course, a chance to look around the great exhibits in the museum

  • We've got exclusive use of a section of concrete WW2 airfield that is normally used by learner drivers and drifters! We'll be running on a track laid out specifically for cyclekarts with plenty of opportunity for shakedowns and testing of cyclekarts. We'll also have a Maybug Medal timed lap competition for those that want to have a go. Click here for the proposed track

  • Unfortunately, this year the organisers have not been granted permission to use the beach, A real shame as this was a great event.

  • A weekend event displaying Cyclekarts and doing some driving demonstrations up the strip to a very large public. It's a big show with loads of other classic vehicles on display. There is camping on site and plenty of catering outlets.

  • Display of 5 club Cyclekarts alongside historic planes, cars and bikes, should be a great day out.

Up to 6,000 people. Aircraft Flying Display – No loud music, no fireworks.

    Gates: Open at 09:00. Flying: 14:00 – 18:00.
