Shuttleworth Review September 2023
There was a great turnout on a lovely sunny autumn day at the ‘Shuttleworth Wings and Wheels Airshow’, from both eventers and the viewing public. Throughout the day there was plenty going on, both in the air and on the ground. The air displays were captivating, with a variety of historic aircraft performing low-level fly-bys and aerobatics. The range of machinery on show was truly inspiring and so great to be able to up close to these pieces of history in the flesh.
Our Cyclekart display proved a complete success, we certainly blended with the theme for the day and attracted a lot of serious interest with many questions asked and follow-up promised.
The historic motor vehicles made many close and slow passes in front of the enthused crowds as they completed the long and winding circuit around the airfield and runway. For any Cyclekarter struggling to find an inspiration car, there was plenty to linger over here.
We will certainly be liaising with the Shuttleworth Collection next year to establish the possibility of further displays with a view to doing some demo’s for all to see.
